The staff of the Radiology Department is experienced in dealing with all kinds of patients from the very young to the elderly. We can take care of all your imaging needs as well as any interventional procedures that may be needed. The hospital staff is well equipped to handle any medical emergency, which may occur during your procedure.
Q: What are the hours of operation?
The Department offers outpatient appointments 6 days a week and an on site radiologist 7 days a week. See the scheduling page for more information.
Q: Where do I park?
Free parking is available at the hospital. The radiology department is located on the 3rd floor of the main hospital building.
Q: What insurance plans are accepted?
St. Francis Hospital and the Radiology Department accept virtually all insurance plans.
Q: When will my doctor know the results of my test?
The studies are read routinely within 24 hours, sooner if required. The reports are generated with a voice recognition dictation system so that there is no delay in transcription. Reports can also be faxed if desired.
Q: How do I schedule my examination?
Some studies such as routine x-rays can be performed on a walk in basis with no appointment necessary. However, other tests may need patient preparation or precertification. Please call our scheduling department for clarification.
