Women's Imaging

Our mammography department is accredited by the American College of Radiology. Needle localization and biopsy/aspiration of breast masses is also available. The department of ultrasound performs breast ultrasound, including ultrasound guided cyst aspiration or mass localization. Pelvic ultrasound for evaluation of gynecologic abnormalities or masses. DEXA scans (bone densitometry) to evaluate bone mineral density of the spine and hip to determine presence of osteopenia (diminished bone density) or osteoporosis and the relative risk for fracture. DEXA can also monitor response to appropriate treatment.
